Maria Ludovica von Habsburg-Lothringen (1791 – 1847) var en österrikisk politiker. Alternativa stavningar av hennes förnamn, är Marie-Louise och Maria Luigia. 1810 – 14 var hon Frankrikes kejsarinna. Fast då hade hon ingen större politisk makt. Hon var helt enkelt gift, med kejsaren av Frankrike. Från 1817 var hon hertiginna av Parma. Det var det som gjorde, att hon förtjänar att kallas “politiker”.
Maria Ludovica var gift tre gånger. 1810 gifte hon sej första gången, med Napoleone Buonaparte. Med honom hade hon sonen Franz. Formellt förblev hon gift med Napoleone, ända tills han dog 1821. Fast dom träffades aldrig efter 1814. Hon skaffade sej snabbt en älskare, som hette Adam Albert von Neipperg (1775 – 1829). Han var österrikisk general och diplomat. Samma år som hon blev furstinna av Parma, fick dom dottern Albertine. Så snart hon fått höra att hennes man dött, gifte Maria Ludovica om sej med Adam. Inom äktenskapet fick dom sonen Wilhelm. Dom fick en dotter och en son till, men dom två överlevde inte. Fem år efter att hennes andra man dött, gifte hon sej för tredje gången. Den här gången var det, med Charles-René de Bombelles (1785 – 1856). Han var en fransk officer och politiker. Med honom hade hon inga barn.

Maria Ludovica von Habsburg-Lothringen (1791 – 1847) was an Austrian politician. Alternative spellings of her given names are Marie-Louise and Maria Luigia. 1810 – 14 she was empress of France. However, she then had no greater political power. She was simply married to the emperor of France. From 1817 she was duchess of Parma. This is why she earned to be called “politician”.
Maria Ludovica was married three times. In 1810 she married for the first time with Napoleone Buonaparte. With him she had her son Franz. Formally she remained married to him until he died in 1821. However, they never meet after 1814. She very soon had a lover named Adam Albert von Neipperg (1775 – 1829). He was an Austrian general and diplomat. The same year as she became princess of Parma they got their daughter Albertine. As soon as she had heard of her husband's death she remarried Adam. Within marriage they got the son Wilhelm. They got a daughter and one more son but these two did not survive. Five years after the death of her second husband she married for the third time. This time it was with Charles-René de Bombelles (1785 – 1856). He was a French officer and politician. With him she had no children.
